In our mission statement, we make a point to say that we are committed to maintaining a technologically advanced facility. We stay up to date and continually invest in the best dental technologies available so we can more efficiently, predictably, and precisely provide the excellent care you deserve.

CEREC® is a method of using state-of-the-art equipment to construct tooth restorations. It uses computer-assisted design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to offer same-day crowns, bridges, veneers, and more. This technology is revolutionizing ceramic restorations, eliminating the wait time and temporary wearing period between preparing the restoration and receiving the finished product. A digital camera is used in the mouth to image the teeth, meaning no more gag-inducing impressions! A computer is used to design your new restoration and the paired milling unit mills it out of a block of ceramic. These ceramic restorations are metal-free and tooth-colored, ensuring that your tooth is restored to its natural beauty, strength and function. With CEREC’s CAD-CAM technology, ceramic restorations are completed, start to finish, in one single visit to our office.

CEREC Dental Restorations

The perfect partner for our CADCAM impressionless digital camera – this amazing new technology is transforming the dental world. We can create digital models of your teeth and send them to the printer – literally printing a copy out of liquid resin. We can use this technology for all sorts of things like creating study models of your mouth, making nightguards, surgical placement guides for dental implants, even entire dentures!

3D Printing

To put it simply, you can’t diagnose what you can’t see. This revolutionary dental technology allows us to view images in 3D as opposed to traditional two-dimensional dental x-rays. This technology is transforming the way we can diagnose and treat our patients. And since it is digital and the image size is focused on just the area of need, the radiation exposure is a small fraction of what is used for a medical CT scan.

This technology allows us to:

  • Pre-plan a dental implant surgery from start to finish. If you need a tooth replaced, we can evaluate the site ahead of time to see if there is enough bone or if a graft may be needed. We can also easily avoid nerves and other intricate anatomy of the jaw bone; and even determine the exact angle, width and length of the implant that would be best.
  • View impacted wisdom teeth in three dimensions so we can plan the best strategy for removal and reduce the risk of damaging neighboring structures.
  • Evaluate every tooth for an infection or abscess. This allows us to assess each individual root for signs of infection, something that cannot be done with an old two-dimensional x-ray. This is a critical technology for finding infected root canals.
  • Determine the true size and location of suspected pathology, such as cancer or cysts of the jaw bones.
  • Evaluate your healing from past extractions and for the presence of cavitation AVN (avascular necrosis) or NICO (neuralgia-inducing cavitational osteonecrosis) lesions.

Digital x-rays significantly reduce the amount of radiation exposure as compared to old film technology. This means the exam procedure is safer for both you and our team. Additionally, software tools used to analyze the digital images allow us to much more quickly and accurately diagnose any areas of need.

We use PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) Therapy in nearly every surgical appointment to improve your quality and speed of healing following dental surgery. The best thing about this process is that it is completely natural and only uses cells from your own body to promote healing. A fibrin membrane is created by centrifuging a small amount blood prior to the procedure. This membrane is concentrated with different growth factors and cells that will allow the body to more quickly and effectively repair both soft (gums) and hard (bone) tissues. This process is essential for predictable healing following extractions, implant placement, as well as sinus and gum surgeries.

Intraoral cameras allow us to use a television screen to show you what we see in your mouth. They provide the ability to see a magnified view of teeth and evaluate treatment needs. Most importantly, they allow us to visually educate you on areas of concern and let you participate in the discussion of treatment options. An additional benefit of intraoral cameras is the ability to easily document areas of concern. These images are electronically stored in your patient file, where they can be referenced at any time to reevaluate your oral health.

The Diagnodent is a laser fluorescence technology that allows us to use minimally invasive efforts to diagnose cavities at their earliest stages. It is useful in the early detection of cavities because it provides a method to quantify the size and precise location of areas of decay.

These lasers are designed for use during soft tissue modification and preventative care dental procedures. Laser technology is efficient, precise, and minimally invasive.

Some uses and benefits of the lasers used at our office are:

  • Treating periodontal disease by disrupting the infection-causing bacteria and biofilm below the gumline
  • Re-contouring the gum line to make your smile look better
  • Speeding up the healing of cold sores and ulcers in your mouth

Although we’ve always had advanced HEPA filtration in all HVAC units, we now proudly feature air filtration units from IQAir and Surgically Clean Air throughout the office that filter 99.5% of harmful particles down to 0.003 microns in size (for reference, the coronavirus is 0.125 microns in size).

IQAir’s high-performance air purifier features source capture using extraoral suction and negative pressure equipment to prevent infectious airborne aerosols from ever leaving the dental operatory. It contains high-efficiency particulate filters as well as substantial gas-phase filters for mercury vapors, disinfectants, and volatile organic compounds.

Surgically Clean Air’s purifiers use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The six-stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air.

The AIRFLOW Prophylaxis Master device is a professional system used for extensive dental cleanings. Using this device, a patient’s teeth can be cleaned with an advanced biofilm management method, removing the thin film called plaque that contributes to the development of periodontal disease and tooth decay. This professional teeth cleaning product provides deeper, more effective cleanings of the teeth and gums during routine dental evaluations.

Developed by Biosure Dental, this unit produces a large volume of ozonated water. As water is dissolved into ozone and hydroxyl molecules, these active ingredients kill bacteria and viruses rapidly, immediately, and continuously. Furthermore, our system presents an effective, stable, and long-term solution for disinfection that is both chemical- and residue-free.

Experience excellence in dental care today.

You shouldn’t have to worry about your mouth or let unpleasant past dental experiences prevent you from living the life you want.

Patient Testimonial

Issue: Severely compromised remaining natural teeth with multiple areas of decay, failing previous dental work, missing teeth, unaesthetically restored lower front implants, and extremely worn and chipped upper front teeth.

Solution: Through a detailed plan of bone grafting, implant placement, and new crowns on the remaining natural teeth – a dramatic restoration of function and cosmetic appearance was possible.
