Ryan Jones: Hi, I’m Dr. Ryan Jones. I’ve been practicing since 2010. I graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis. I grew up in Brentwood and went to Brentwood High School.

Ryan Jones: I think from the minute you walk in the door you’ll feel the difference with the team here at Nashville Restorative Dentistry. From being greeted by name when you come in as a new patient to the time that’s spent with you, the efforts to communicate and educate, the caring attitude, the gentleness, and just the joy that you feel around here that we’ve created with our team environment.

Ryan Jones: The greatest satisfaction in working with patients is to be able to take something, particularly with a fearful patient, that they didn’t think that they’d be able to go through or they were just incredibly apprehensive in doing. Being able to walk them through, not only reassuring them that they’re going to be okay but then getting on the other side of it and seeing them thrilled with the result.

Ryan Jones: I think the difference that’ll stand out about our practice when you first visit here is our focus on you as an individual, not just rushing you in and rushing you out. It’s about much more than that. Not only the personal connection and our caring for you as an individual but just as importantly how your oral health is connected to your overall health. We’re very focused on how what is going on in your mouth affects the rest of your body.

Ryan Jones: My priority here for patients is to know that we truly have our best interests at heart and we view ourselves here as educators. We’re here to truly inform you of all the treatment options you have and not to tell you what you need to do. Whether that be us fighting inflammation in your gum tissue, working to resolve the infection, or removing materials that aren’t compatible with your body. Whether that be a patient that’s coming here for veneers that want to change their smile. Whether that be someone that comes here with a lot of dental problems that we need to completely restore their mouth.

Ryan Jones: There’s no scope of treatment that we don’t do and can’t handle, but more importantly we want to make patients understand why they’re doing the work that they’re choosing to do. I think one of the biggest problems in healthcare right now is patients aren’t made to be part of the process. They’re told what they need to do and they don’t really understand why. I think it’s where a lot of frustration comes in. You’re going to get the understanding that we care for you, that we’re going to do the best quality of work that you can find, and that it’s going to last a long time.
