Issue: Spacing between the front teeth and an uneven tilt to the smile.
Solution: Short term orthodontics to evenly spread out the space between the teeth followed by veneers across the eight front teeth to create a level smile with color consistency and no spaces.
Issue: Short side front teeth and a lack of consistent color and brightness of the smile.
Solution: Crown lengthening was performed to raise the gum level of the lateral incisors and create a more harmonious gum contour and establish ideal tooth length. Six veneers were then placed from canine to canine to create the smile appearance, color consistency, and whiteness that she wanted to see.
Issue: A fall resulted in a broken front tooth. Uneven edges, slight gap, and longer than ideal front teeth.
Solution: The broken piece of the tooth was originally bonded back into place, but an infection later developed. A root canal was performed to resolve the infection. An all ceramic crown was placed on the broken front tooth and a veneer was placed on the adjacent front tooth. The result was a beautiful and seamless transition between the restored and natural teeth.
Issue: A genetic enamel defect left the front teeth with thin and pitted enamel and an overall yellowed appearance. Whitening alone was not successful in changing the color to her satisfaction.
Solution: Four no-prep veneers were bonded onto her front teeth. No numbing or cutting of the teeth required!
Issue: Yellowed and unevenly shaped front teeth.
Solution: Veneers across the front eight upper teeth and all ceramic crowns on the upper and lower molars to recreate proper bite support and function.
